Frequently Asked Questions About Rehab
If drug or alcohol use is negatively impacting your quality of life, you know that it is time to do something. If you have tried to quit and been unsuccessful at maintaining sobriety, you need to consider addiction treatment.
Under most circumstances, your job is protected under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) while you are in inpatient rehab. You can come to treatment, keep your job, and we’ll handle all the paperwork. You do not need to disclose the reason for your leave, simply that you are tending to a medical concern.
Each patient’s length of stay is dependent on their clinical needs and their progression while in treatment. On average though, detox and residential treatment is around 28 days.
Traveling for addiction treatment is suggested for many patients because it is helpful to get away from the people, places, and things that you associate with using. Additionally, not every city in America has quality addiction treatment options. Our South Florida detox center is in the heart of an ultra-active recovery community surrounded by addiction and mental health resources.
Generally, we do not allow patients to keep their cell phones while they are in detox or residential treatment. This helps us ensure that every patient has the privacy that they deserve. Patients are allowed to make phone calls to their loved ones on our phone or with supervision. Under certain circumstances, we will make accommodations to patients who need access to their phone or a computer to handle legitimate responsibilities.
If you have health insurance, it may cover most or all of the cost of treatment. Call for a free insurance verification and an explanation of your benefits and financial responsibility. If you do not have insurance, our admissions team can discuss private pay options which vary according to length of stay and services required.
