Our Palm Beach Detox Program
Our South Florida detox center provides high quality addiction medicine to alleviate dangerous and uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms. Regardless of your drug of choice, we have a treatment plan that will work for you.
Each substance has its own detox process. The most successful detox for many drugs is to taper similar medicines with a lower abuse threshold. This helps to ease the withdrawal symptoms associated with dependence.
At the same time, our doctors will prescribe “comfort meds” to help with the transition to recovery. Our health care professionals keep a careful eye on patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure that no one feels alone during this trying time.
We recognize that detox may be both emotionally and physically taxing, so we let patients go at their own pace. Until the body has healed, comfort and relaxation are encouraged. Following detox, we begin treating the underlying mental health issues. Traditional one-on-one and group therapy, as well as holistic treatment modalities, are used.
We encourage but do not require our patients to engage in recovery groups like Twelve Step fellowships. Each patient’s road to recovery is unique, and we are here to support them.

First Steps In Detox
Detox is a unique experience for each patient. The first step at 1 Solution Detox, on the other hand, begins with a friendly welcome. Our qualified staff will make you feel perfectly at peace.
You will be medically assessed upon admission. This assessment ensures that you are properly detoxed and that your medical needs are satisfied while you are in our care. Then you’ll go through an interview to determine your clinical needs. Above all, this gives your therapists information about the kind of counseling you may respond to.
Next, staff will assist you in settling into your accommodation and will give you a tour of the facilities. After that, you’ll see a doctor, who will prescribe medication to help you through the detox and get you back on your feet. Following that, you will meet your team of dedicated case managers and therapists.
Your therapists will work with you to create a treatment plan. Your case manager will be in charge of managing your life outside of treatment. This includes FMLA, short-term disability, and any legal or personal issues that need to be addressed.
You will be provided time and space to rest and recover during the most difficult parts of your detox. Once you’re feeling better physically, you’ll start working with your therapist on laying a solid recovery foundation. You can look forward to a happy and healthy sober life!
Outpatient Detox Palm Beach
For some drugs, outpatient detox services can be offered. Patients addicted to Xanax and other benzos will often request that their prescribing doctor taper down their dose. Additionally, Suboxone doctors will write a prescription for buprenorphine to patients who are addicted to opiates. Before Suboxone became popular, methadone clinics served the same role.
While outpatient detox sounds convenient, it rarely produces long term recovery. It is a short term solution for a long term problem.
Suboxone, for example, is not meant to be taken for long periods of time. When it is, dependence develops and the original opiate addiction is simply replaced. Quitting suboxone after long term use produces severe withdrawal symptoms that last weeks. Any patient who has taken methadone is familiar with this dilemma.
At the same time, opiate and benzo users often take other drugs as well. Patients with poly-substance addiction are particularly bad candidates for outpatient detox because their co-occurring addictions are untreated. Opiate addicts on Suboxone can still abuse cocaine. Benzo users who are tapering down can combat their withdrawals with alcohol.
For these reasons, 1 Solution Detox never recommends outpatient detox. Addiction is more complicated than simple physical dependence. To ensure effective treatment, patients needs to receive continued therapy and support in the safety of an inpatient setting. Don’t settle for treatment that is convenient, talk to our team of experts about how you can receive the best help available.
Drug Addiction Treatment
Drug detox is just the first step of drug addiction treatment. Our inpatient drug rehab program allows clients to continue their recovery once they have completed detox. Here they will build on the foundation that they established in detox to develop the tools they will need to remain sober when they leave our treatment center.
